That's totally untrue. I lived in North Port for over 15 years and I wanted to live there. The homes are much more affordable than other areas, folks were friendly, I loved having well water--no monthly bill and I could water my plants without a huge bill, etc It's about 30 minutes or less from Nokomis Beach, which was fine with me. North Port has several parks that worked out great for my family. North Port has tons of new things coming in-Starbucks, First Watch, Chucky Cheese, etc. Your opinion is not the same as everyone's....

There's no monthly bill for well water, until you have to go to Home Depot for the salt and pay to have it cleaned every six months.

I don't have pay to have it cleaned once a month. I'm a gal and can do it myself with a little bleach and a long handled scrub brush. Salt is very cheap and lasts for a while. I'm on city water now and would take my well over city any day. If I wanted to hire someone it's $30/mo. Still less than half of what my citer water bill is per month.

Well water is great, if you don't like wearing white clothing or don't mind rust stains.

My clothing is white and I don't have any rust stains on anything. If you have a good softner and flirtation you don't have to worry about things like that. Again, I like well water better than the city I have now

Another post stated as facts, when in fact, it's an opinion. Well water works perfectly fine for many parts of the world. I had it for 20 years and never had a single taste, purity, or clothing washing issue.

Hmmm the only thing I can think is that he doesn't separate his whites and therefore they are dingy

Have you considered that your statements like this earn you the negative responses to your posts? You are telling us what every single person in North Port thinks? You say it like it is a fact that NOBODY who lives there wants to? I lived in NP. I didn't like it. I moved. I can express why I didn't like it without being insulting to those who do. I can say I don't like well water without insulting those that do. I'm not a real estate agent or a member of any clique here. I found this forum when I was considering relocating to the area. Overall I found the folks here very friendly and the information I got was fair and balanced and try to occasionally return the favor now that I live here. I'm sure I've offended people here from time to time with my opinions too but I have never felt ganged up on for it or left out of some inner circle. Maybe everyone can have a big group cyber-hug and start over?
