Hey Guys,
Just wanted to say a quick Thank You to everyone on here, we are officially LWR Residents as of August 9th, We are leaving NYC on the 7th and heading south. It has been a long road to get here but we are extremely excited for this new chapter... Thanks for putting up with my dumb questions as well as the really dumb ones !!! You guys have helped me in many ways and i appreciate all your help, oh, and the funny remarks also !!! Talk to you all soon and see you on the beach !!!

about 2 years from when we checked out the area combined with a disney trip, My wife knew she wanted the gulf coast so that made it somewhat easier, we originally though Venice but seemed too old for us. my buddy lives in Ft. Meyers so we visited them a lot and drove to different areas.. we like LWR for many reasons that others don't like it but to each their own....We went with Lee Wetherington builders which we really liked their different models in different areas, really like the open floor plan which you can't really find here in NY. And the fact that i retired helped, i am only 47 but jobs were not a big issue...

We are also from NY - Hudson Valley area- also have a place very near LWR - we come up and down sporadically. Each time we visit, it's harder and harder to come back up to NY.
