Does Nokomis have any apartment complexes? I've been looking online but have only found a few houses for rent. I'll be down to that part of FL in a couple months to look around several different areas that I've inquired about on here and am really interested in Nokomis. Unfortunately I'm not in a position to buy a home and am looking for an apartment complexes to check out but haven't had any luck in Nokomis. Thanks in advance!

Nokomis is a small area of about 3500 people. The only "apartments" I am aware of are on Casey Key Road, and they cater more to tourists wanting rentals near the beach. Most of the area consists of neighborhoods of older homes with a few newer deed restricted communities mixed in. You may have to extend your search either north into southern Sarasota or south into Venice for apartments.

Thank you. That's what I thought but was hoping someone would have some input, you never know what you'll find out! My original search has been in Venice and then I found Nokomis and thought I would look in to that too, the smaller the town the better for me. Thanks!

Our area doesn't have a lot of traditional apartment complexes. You'll find that most rental inventory consists of condos and single family homes.

Sorrento East has "Villas" and "condos" that are private rentals, but the HOA is on the high side ($320 a month just for the HOA). Look in South Sarasota (4 miles north) and there are a number of complexes around the Sarasota Square Mall that dont seem to bad.

Good luck in your search
