Dec 13

Anna Maria Island Privateers Christmas Parade -- great fun, lots of floats AND pirates, starts at 10 am and runs down the entire length of AMI.

St. Armands Circle Porsches in the Park -- free car show, 10 am - 4 pm (although some start leaving by 3, so go earlier).

Sarasota Boat Parade -- parade of boats decorated with lights and decorations, runs along the Sarasota bayfront, starts at 6 pm.

Dec 12 & 13

Gingerbread houses on display -- over 150 Gingerbread houses on display at the Westfield Sarasota Square Mall in south Sarasota.

Sarasota Holiday Arts & Crafts Show -- it's moving this year to the Phillippi Estates Park on US41, free admission.

Please keep posting these events and ignore the negative comments. I check it every Friday and I have some out of town guest coming next month, so I'll be looking for weekend events for Dec 6 and Dec 12-13.

Thanks for your efforts.
