I have a beautiful pair of Frye boots, and you bet I wear them every chance I get in the winter. See my post above about dressing for snow, lol. Only when temps are below 50 though!

This year ~ I'm getting winter clothes ~ going to be colder than ever & I don't want to have to stay in the house from December through March.

Winter here is normally about 6 weeks long but last year it was colder than usual for longer than usual. It can get as low as 28 at night and 40's during the day. For me that means jeans, down jacket, sneakers. This winter is predicted to be colder and wetter than usual so probably similar to last winter. It's still tons better than anything going on up north but don't expect to wear shorts and sandals unless you're warm blooded.
