When I was 8 years old our school went on a field trip to the real WaWa dairy farm! That was over 50 years ago.

Now we are definitely buying a place there!
hahaha, my 4 year old son says: "what does the goose say? wawa!"

I really miss Wawa and I'm THRILLED to see one is coming here! I wonder if the hoagie rolls will be the ones we got in Philly -- was it Amoroso? I just think the bread down here tastes different and even the eggs. And I used to get a Chai Latte at Wawa every day -- better than Starbucks. Can't wait....now I've got to figure out where First Street East is....

1st street is US41, it's just a few blocks north of the Red Barn Flea Market.

Wawa has recently moved into Riverview in a big way. We have 3 within two miles of our house. They usually are tied for the lowest gas prices with Race Trac. People around here rave about their food, so I finally tried a sub sandwich and I'd say it was on par with the Publix subs. During the grand openings they offered free drinks for an entire month and although I didn't partake in this many people here loved that promotion and it hooked them on Wawa. Having Wawa and Aldi come to town has got to be a good thing for your area.

Do they call them subs here? Because they have an entire promotion and advertising jingle about "hoagie-fest" in the summer....will they call it "sub-fest"??? LOL

Wawa is great and I'm from NY where there are none. Whenever we go to Lancaster , or Hershey or anywhere in Penn I always look to see where the Wawas are. Motivates me to lean toward moving to Florida whenever we decide to move.

^^^ Really?
Where did you 'come' from?
Were your family predecessors here from the time of the Apalachees, Miccosukee or Seminole?
