I can't say I'm a hockey fan but I watched back in 2005 and loved it all the way thru the cup. For some reason, it couldn't hold my interest after that but this playoff and final has me back. I guess it's not as much about being a team fan for me as it is about rooting for the home team win and the win for the area.

As someone who currently lives 50 miles outside Chicago, but who plans to (soon?) live in the Sarasota / Venice area, I don't know which team to root for!

I am amazed at the announcer's skill at not only being able to follow the action from a booth but to be able to instantaneously recognize and announce the player's names the way they do while still picking up on the nuances of the game. I don't think any other sports broadcasters can compare. As I've said, I'm only a passing fan and obviously didn't grow up in that culture but I have complete admiration for those guys and I hope they are recognized within the biz for their talent.
I'm watching a fairly large screen from about 10' away and I STILL can't follow the action at times.
