This wasn't on the list, but we had so much fun at the Fall Family Festival at Spanish Point in Osprey put on by the Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast.

There was kayaking, kid workshops, environmental arts and crafts, face painting, hula hooping, biology in the bay and it was free. Great family time and while hot, there was lots of shade and the grandkids loved it. They came home with a birdhouse they made and a fairy pot with plants they decorated.

The most fun was the tree climb with Common Ground adventures. No rush and hanging around in the stand of live oaks as long as you wanted. Great fun and we are putting it on our calendar for next year.
