Since tomorrow is New Year's Eve and some people may not as yet made plans, I am posting early again this week to share the various NYE celebrations going on in the Bradenton - Sarasota - Venice area, along with a few weekend events.
THURSDAY/ NEW YEAR'S EVE:
Sarasota Celebration/ Pineapple Drop -- always a popular event in downtown Sarasota, area of Main & Lemon streets. Celebration starts at 3 pm with family friendly things to do, rides, games, vendors. Live music during the evening and the pineapple drops at midnight.
New Year's Eve In Downtown Sarasota Florida
Sarasota Bayfront Fireworks Show at Midnight -- bring in the new year with a bang. Go early, parking becomes a problem if you wait.

Big street festival in downtown Sarasota next Saturday & Sunday with thousands of motorcycles, live bands, food & beverage vendors. Event runs January 7th - 10th.
