Still haven't signed a contract. We had 6 companies come out, received 4 quotes and are deciding between two companies. No one wants to say stay from anyone. I just did a bunch of research and starting calling to set up appointments. After the first two appointments, we had enough info to kind of feel out whether the company would be a good fit. Things the person mentioned or did NOT mention.

But can't give any feedback re actual installation.
What does a Electric Pool Heater cost approximately, I know it's based on size?? Thanks

For a 14 x 26 pool, we've seen costs from $3,700 to $4,100, depending on brand and pool builder.

Every pool builder said solar doesn't work. Every. Single. One.

I am in no way a pool heater expert but we installed on a few months back, i did research on them and this is just my opinion based on our research/experience.. We have kids and we use the pool a lot so i wanted something to heat up the pool quickly... we went with Gas and are happy we did, in winter i keep it at 82, only turn it on on fridays and turn off on sundays on weekends we use it. Solar will only heat up the pool by 10 degrees at best. Heat pump takes a few days to heat it and costs more to buy but less to run it. Our gas bill basically doubles when i run it but is still very manageable. I like the idea that if my daughter is having friends over or a sleepover i can put heater on and in 3-4 hrs it will be at 82...just my opinion to go with what works best for your usage ... Good Luck

When we bought our house the roof inspector told us that many roofs are ruined by solar on top - he saw them every day

New to Venice,
Curious about who you did call. We called 4-5 compline and only have had 2 call back. One is scheduled to come out next week and the other (Superior) sent me an introductory email and what is included in their pools as standard. Superior also told me that for a standard pool, I would be looking at 45-50K. I thought that sounded really high. All we want is a basic pool to swim some laps and cool off and splash around with the grandbabies when they visit. I am not sure if this is going to be possible.
Thanks!

Just sent you a DM. Unless you are going for major upgrades, you can get a pool for much less than that. It really depends on what you want.
