Hi, I am new to the area and want to get my business going. What are the laws pertaining to walking around neighborhoods and putting flyers on doors? In Colorado, we were able to do this, UNLESS there is a sign that says "no solicitation" what about here? Thank you.

Same thing here, plus you will not gain entrance to a gated community and you probably know- no flyers on or in a mailbox.

Flyers go in my recycling without a look and I get to pick up the ones that fly off other snowbird residence that are gone for the summer. The question isn't whether it can be done, but rather should it be done.

You wont get any business using flyers - if someone has the nerve to put a flyer on my door - to me that means I will NEVER use their business - I want people off my property and it might be dangerous for you to be on my property.

I 100% agree. I don't give any business to flyers or anyone coming on my property or knocking on my door. There are way better strategies for advertising a business; like the internet and craigslist for example.
