Parrish is located within Manatee County so the schools are also within the Manatee County School system. The Florida Department of Education rates schools using an overall letter grade based on several factors but, the last time I looked, there were no A-rated schools up that way. You can visit the FLDOE website to check for yourself.

There is a bridge being built across the Manatee River which should be open in the next year or so. That will make many parts of Parrish more conveniently accessible to Lakewood Ranch and it would not surprise me to find many parents in Parrish trying to move their kids (via school choice) into the A-rated LWR schools but these schools are already pretty full.

It feels like 75 has become quite a bit more congested over the past few years but I don't know if it is because there are more people or if it is a result of the construction at University. It's probably both but I think the flow will be better once they finish the construction so maybe it will improve overall. Every place and every home has a balance of pluses and minuses. You need to balance the value you find in Parrish with the drawbacks, just as you must with any location.
