Needing to get implants for two teeth and want to find an honest and reasonable price place to go. Any help would be appreciated.

I hope someone responds. I could use an implant myself. Usually your dentist will make a recommendation. You may want to consider medical tourism if you have two. What's $2,500.00 in Sarasota is $650.00 in Mexico.

I don't trust these dentists down here. When I moved here, I went to a prosthodontist (specialist in dental reconstruction) because I have such complicated work in my mouth and my dentist up North had told me that's who I should find. I just needed a dentist for cleanings and check-ups. I find one, he does the check-up and tells me he feels possible decay under one of the bridges (of course, this decay did not show in the x-rays) and that the bridge should come off, and an implant put in, new bridge, blah blah....I was like, WHATTT? I get them checked every 6 months and I take excellent care of my teeth (crowns, I mean), how could this decay have popped up? Bottom line is I went to my dentist back home and she said she could not feel any decay at all, nor could she see it on an x-ray. I think the new guy saw all my "work", thought I had big bucks and was gonna soak me for 18 or 20 grand. Sorry I have no one to recommend....

Going to a dentist anywhere is a crap shoot..... sorry. I have had a lot of reconstruction/restoration work done over the years, and more than once. I am not going to recommend anyone. My last dentist did an OK job and his total bill was HALF what the first dentist quoted me. So shop around. And implants aren't cheap anywhere unless you go out of the country. Figure on at least $3000 for each (implant, post and crown). And this is if you don't need bone grafting, etc.

Well, I only had one almost iffy dentist in Dallas in almost 40 years. In a six month period down here I had two that while they were very nice, I had some serious doubts about their work.

fwit. My dentist Dr. Kennedy on University and cooper creek did a full implant and finished a second one( finished one started up north) and I was satisfied both times. implant norms are $3500 more or less per tooth. so be prepared.

I have no personal experiences, but this site gives insight in lots of dental centres, also overseas ones.

Dr. Kaufman on Clark road did an excellent job on mine. Highly recommended.
