Hi everyone! Looking to explore Anna Maria Island this week. Does anyone have any recommendations for dinner on the island? Looking for a tiki bar style restaurant (if possible). Looked on Google Maps and didn't find much.

Thank you for your help!

Best for my money is the upscale Beach Bistro, I've known Sean, the owner for decades - always very good to great food.

Gulf Drive Cafe is one big tiki bar. Great setting, but mostly a bar, the food is so-so. Same with Beach House practically next door. Further up is the Sand Bar, food there is a little better, but again it's more about the fantastic beach setting.

If you need high $$$$ gourmet, then go with the Beach Bistro as recommended above.

Yep, I'd try the Sandbar Restaurant- more a tiki type setting. Food is average to good, but a great setting right on the beach!

I'll say that in the case of Beach Bistro, you get exactly what you pay for in a well-above average fine dining experience. I dare say that BB ranks as one of the best in the SE.

I really loved the experience of eating there. The view was beautiful and I felt like it was the real, old Florida feeling. Obviously, it's not fancy.
