Both Palmaire and University Park have very attractive villas, Palmaire being more reasonably priced. We were afraid to buy into University Park even tho the layouts were beautiful since the cheapest units were at the top of our budget and we were afraid we'd feel uncomfortable. Also, if I remember correctly membership in the country club was mandatory. We chose the Meadows because it had a slightly less formal feel to the country club and didn't require membership. We will join once we are permanent residents. You can't go wrong with the area. The traffic isn't so bad and the shopping convenince is great. It's easy to hop on and off I-75 to get around.

Just to confirm, super super area to live. Plus, lower taxes than Sarasota. I misspoke in my previous posts. It is still Bradenton but is on the BORDER of Sarasota. Lakewood Ranch, Palm Aire are all Bradenton. But a Bradenton unlike any other area : ). I highly recommend this area
