Does anyone know of a local place to buy really good sausage, like you get in NY or NJ? Or do you order it from out of state?

I have not bought sausage from this Italian restaurant/market, but my guess is they have sausage, as they have a market with meat counter/large meat display case...it is in Venice, not Sarasota.

I have heard that Massaro's in St Pete is the place to go for all Italian foods. Friends have compared it to Eataly in NY.

Mazzaro's is a quarter (maybe even an eighth of the size of any Eataly, whether the Eataly is in NYC, Los Angeles or Rome, yes I have been to them all). Also Mazzaro's does not carry the amazing quality of MADE IN ITALY foods that Eataly has. The groceries at Eataly are 99% made in Italy. The groceries at Mazzaro's are not. Eataly is a grocery store/food hall concept that was born in Italy, an empire built by and run by Italians.

Mazzaro's is run by Italian Americans selling crap tomato sauce canned in New Jersey to dumb Americans.

There is no need to go to Mazzaro's or anywhere else. There are plenty of amazing sausage makers and suppliers that sell online.

Eataly is one.

Sprouts in Sarasota has pretty good sausage. Lots of choices.
