Hi there,
Can anyone recommend any quality tennis academies in the Tampa/Bradenton/Sarasota areas? Not interested in the IMG types, looking for a smaller/more affordable academy. I have 2, Nationally ranked boys (10 & 13). My husband can work from home so commuting is not an issue. Thank you in advance for your time.

They Y has Nationally ranked tennis athletes? Are you referring to the YMCA?

If your sons are nationally ranked, why wouldn't you want them at IMG ~ sure it's overpriced but that's where the "nationally ranked" can be found. Tennis instruction in this area is cutthroat and not that great. Sarasota only has one academy in LWR. Bradenton has one or two but nothing special. Tampa has Cheval in Lutz and a number of others. Depends where you live & how much you want to fight traffic. COVI-19 is also making an impact within the academies. I only know this because I have a friend who is a pro and teaches the 18 & under.
