Cheesy I realize but single/divorced/female leaving the chaos of the DC area shortly and am just wondering what part of the Sarasota/Bradenton/AnnaMaria area may be best to meet people outside of just online dating sites which I hate doing. I’d love to find some outdoor activities to join and get involved with from runs to bike rides to bar crawls quite honestly so curious what any of you would recommend. Thanks!

There are activity groups in the Sarasota area that you join where people meet up by interest group. First example, Sarasota Walkers has lots of members and they have weekly walks at The Ringling Bridge and other places. The group is free to join. Members often go out to eat after the walks. Kayak Explorers and More is another group that does group kayaking and bike rides. These groups are not dating groups. Single and married people belong to them. Good way to stay active and meet new people. Good luck to you! I think you will like the Sarasota area.
