Hi Everyone,
I have both good news and bad news this weekend.
The bad news? According to my sources, the following events that were to take place this weekend have been canceled due to COVID-19:
Sarasota & Manatee River holiday boat parades
Coquina Beach Seafood & Music Festival -- moved to April 2021
The good news? We still have lots of events scheduled for this weekend for those who wish to get out and enjoy the season.
Please keep in mind that as of writing this post, all of the following events are expected to take place as planned. However, since we are still dealing with the Covid virus, please keep in mind that event schedules are subject to change with little notice.
Here's a list of fun things I've found that are going on in the Sarasota - Bradenton - Venice area this weekend:
FRIDAY
Food Truck Rally at North Jetty Park, Nokomis -- music, games. 5 - 9 pm.
Free Music Friday Night Concert -- Centennial Park, bring lawn chairs, 7 - 9 pm. Pre-registration is required due to Covid restrictions.

Killin it Christmas Boat Parade -- new event by local boat owners to replace this year's canceled Sarasota boat parade. Starts at New Pass channel, moves toward 10th Street ramp, then south to Ringling Bridge. 6 - 9 pm.
