Hi Everyone,
Although a number of events have been canceled or postponed because of Covid-19, we do still have events going on for those who wish to get out and enjoy the season.
Please keep in mind that as of writing this post, all of the following events are expected to take place as planned. However, since we are still dealing with the Covid virus, please keep in mind that event schedules are subject to change with little notice.
Here's a list of fun things I've found that are going on in the Sarasota - Bradenton - Venice area this weekend:
THRU DECEMBER 23rd
Lights in Bloom -- holiday lights throughout the Selby Gardens grounds, special fun kids activities. 6 - 9 pm, adults $25, ages 5 - 17 $7, ages 4 & under get in free.

Ellenton Holiday Village -- midway rides & games, fair food, live entertainment. Ellenton Premium Outlets.

Country Christmas at Hunsader Farms -- hayrides, petting zoo, food vendors, Santa & over 300,000 holiday lights on display. 6 - 10 pm, $10/adult, ages 5 & under get in free. Cash only. Free parking. 5500 C.R. 675, Bradenton.
Gingerbread House Festival -- on display at the Mall at University Town Center during regular mall hours.
SATURDAY
Sarasota Farmers Market -- downtown at Lemon & Main, 7 am - 1 pm.
Central Sarasota Farmers Market -- corner Proctor & Beneva, 8 am - 1 pm.
Bradenton Farmers Market -- on Old Main Street (400 12th St W), 9 am - 2 pm. Veggies, organics, fresh eggs, seafood and more.
Venice Farmers Market -- at the Centennial Park parking lot, 9 am - noon.

DECEMBER 25
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Pinecraft Christmas Parade -- informal parade that is a yearly tradition. Starts at around 3 pm in the Bahia Vista & Beneva area, winds thru the neighborhood streets.
