FRIDAY
Free Music Friday Night Concert -- at Venice's Centennial Park gazebo, 7 - 9 pm, bring lawn chairs, masks required.
Downtown Sarasota Block Party -- Boats on the Block party --meet & greet the race teams, live music, vendors. Main Street between Orange & Gulfstream, 6 - 10 pm.
SATURDAY
Sarasota Farmers Market -- downtown at Lemon & Main, 7 am - 1 pm.
Central Sarasota Farmers Market -- corner Proctor & Beneva, 8 am - 1 pm.
Bradenton Farmers Market -- on Old Main Street (400 12th St W), 9 am - 2 pm. Veggies, organics, fresh eggs, seafood and more. (CLOSED June - Sept.)
Venice Farmers Market -- at the City Hall, 401 W Venice Ave, 8 am - 1 pm.
Summer Hours: 8 am - noon.
Red, White & Blue Motorcycle Poker Chip Run -- $10/hand for participants. Registration 9:30 - 11 am, Rossiter's Harley Davidson at 300 Cattlemen Rd. Live music, food, full bar, vendors.
Sommers Dutch Family Restaurant's Classic Car Show -- 9 am - 1 pm, 4000 Cattlemen Rd.
SATURDAY & SUNDAY
Summer Indie Markets -- University Town Center mall parking lot. Food, music, vendors. Sat 10 am - 6 pm, Sun 11 am - 4 pm.
BOAT RACES -- Powerboat & Aqua X boat races off of Lido Beach, Sat 9:30 am - 4 pm, Sun p am - 4 pm.
Repticon Sarasota -- 2 day reptile expo, shows, sales. Sat & Sun 9 - 11 am, 11:30 am - 1:30 pm & 2 - 4 pm.
Online ticket sales only, Robarts Arena, Sarasota county fairgrounds.
Powerboats by the Bay -- dry pit area at the Van Wezel parking lot, also vendors, food, music.
SUNDAY
Lakewood Ranch Farmers Market -- LWR Medical Center parking lot, 10 am - 2 pm.
Polo at Lakewood Ranch -- closed for the summer, back next fall.
The Ski-A-Rees Water Ski Show -- closed for the summer, back next season.
Cricket Matches -- Sarasota International Cricket Club in Lakewood Ranch, 10 am - 4 pm, spectators welcome. (Matches canceled for 6/26.)

Suncoast Summer Fest's Boat Fun Run -- open to everyone with a boat, 11 am - 4 pm, meet up at 2 Marina Plaza on Sarasota Bay.
Anna Maria Island 4th of July Parade -- starts at south end/ Coquina Beach and travels north to City Pier, starts 10 am.
Nathan Benderson Park Rec Days -- water fun for families - try stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, canoes & more. $10/person or $5/adult with child, children 6 & under get in free. 10 am - 2 pm, Nathan Benderson Park.
Fireworks on the Lake -- Nathan Benderson Park. Fireworks at 9 pm, gates open 5 pm with food, exhibits, live music & kids zone. $20/car.
Outdoor Concert at South Venice Civic Association -- food, beer & wine (no coolers allowed), bring lawn chairs, 6 - 9 pm. Tickets $12 - $15.
Longboat Key Freedom Fest -- mini parade, music, food, kids games, dog costume show. 9 - 11 am, Bicentennial Park on Longboat Key.
Former President Donald Trump / Save America Rally -- Sarasota county fairgrounds, 8 pm, fireworks afterwards, tickets required - must be purchased online. Gates open 2 pm, speakers 2 - 5 pm.

Punta Gorda An American Holiday -- festival at Fisherman's Village. Music, food, shopping, artists, entertainment. Fireworks at 9 pm Saturday.

SUNDAY, JULY 4

Quick update on this weekend:
St. Pete is having a 3 day 4th of July festival July 2nd - 4th at the Pier with lots of activities, food trucks, entertainment, live music ending with fireworks Sunday evening.
Tampa is hosting a large BBQ on Saturday and their Red, White & Boom by the Bay fireworks display on Sunday:
