It'sweird, the dail;y samples map shows 0 to low with one medium example. I guess low is enough to make a difference? Just as vaccines are spread about and folks look forward to going maskless might have to keep it on for red tide protection!

The latest sample for Lido Beach showed a "very low" Red Tide presence, but this still can cause respiratory irritation. I wouldn't want to swim in any water with a Red Tide presence.

They changed the interface as the site used have a specific category for red tide, but if you look at the flag color- purple is when there is red tide.

Today, (April 22nd) the Red Tide is in Downtown Sarasota where they are holding the Boat Show this weekend.

I wonder if a N-95 mask will keep out the Red Tide irritants?

I might be back in time to catch the last few hours of the Boat Show, but I dont want to be coughing the whole time Sunday afternoon.
