Music in the Park -- free music concert at the Rossi Park Pavilion, Riverwalk, Bradenton, 6 - 8 pm, bring lawn chairs.
Music on Main in Lakewood Ranch -- free music, vendors, activities, 6 - 9 pm, Lakewood Ranch's Main Street.
Downtown Sarasota Fresh Fridays -- Janis Joplin tribute band, various circus performers. 7 - 10 pm, Lemon Ave between Main & First.
FRIDAY - SUNDAY
Sarasota Chalk Festival -- over 100 artists creating works of art with chalk on concrete. Venice Airport Festival Grounds, 10 - 5 pm, tickets $5 - $30.
SATURDAY
Sarasota Farmers Market -- downtown at Lemon & Main, 7 am - 1 pm.
Central Sarasota Farmers Market -- corner Proctor & Beneva, 8 am - 1 pm.
Bradenton Farmers Market -- on Old Main Street (400 12th St W), 9 am - 2 pm. Veggies, organics, fresh eggs, seafood and more.
Venice Farmers Market -- at the City Hall, 401 W Venice Ave, 8 am - 1 pm.
Summer Hours: 8 am - noon.
Goat Yoga -- yoga with the goats at Fruitville Groves, starts 10:30 am, $30/person. 7410 Fruitville Rd, Sarasota.
Run / Walk for the Turtles -- sponsored by Mote Marine, fun walk or 5K run on Siesta Key Beach. Registration at 6:30 am, fun run 7:30 am, 5K at 8 am.
Kiwanis Kids Fish-A-Thon -- at Oscar Scherer Park, ages 4 - 12, free entry to park & bait to fish, free hot dogs at noon. 8 am - noon. Contact the park at (941) 483-5956 to register.
Aqua Egg Hunt -- hunt for eggs in the pool at Arlington Park's Aquatic Complex in Sarasota. Ages 4 - 12, registration required thru county website, start at 1 pm.
Cars & Coffee on Cattlemen -- enjoy cars, coffee & donuts, Elite Motorworks at 1749 Cattlemen, Sarasota, starts at 7:30 am.
Wild About Nature Festival -- learn about nature, activities, food trucks. At the shores of Little Sarasota Bay, Bay Preserve in Osprey, 11 am - 4 pm.
SATURDAY & SUNDAY
Downtown Sarasota Arts & Crafts Festival -- artisan vendors, 10 am - 5 pm, 1 Central Ave.
Sarasota Open Air Fine Arts Show -- artisan vendors, free admission, $5/parking, 10 am - 5 pm, Phillippi Estate Park in Sarasota.
Spirit Fest Metaphysical & Holistic Fair -- palm readings, crystals, demonstrations, vendors. Robarts Arena at the Sarasota county fairgrounds, 10 am - 5 pm, free parking, admission $12/day or both days $18 for adults.
SUNDAY
Lakewood Ranch Farmers Market -- Waterside Place, 10 am - 2 pm.
The Meadows Farmers Market -- At the Meadows shopping village off Honore, 10 am - 2 pm.
Coquina Beach Market -- farmers market at the beach, Anna Maria Island's Coquina Beach parking lot, 10 am - 4 pm (each Sunday thru March).
Polo at Lakewood Ranch -- Gates open 10 am, matches 1 - 4 pm.

The Ski-A-Rees Water Ski Show -- show at 2 pm, Ken Thompson Park on City Island.

Cigar Box Guitar Festival -- at the Big Top Brewing Co, 975 Cattlemen in Sarasota, starts at 12 pm.

The Shark's Tooth Festival was canceled (yet again) for 2022. The info I saw stated they have not yet made a decision about 2023.
