Our grandson’s dog got out this evening about 6–crawled under our fence to chase a rabbit and he hasn’t been found—
Ernie is a brown, black-mouth cur—looks sort of like Scooby Doo or Marmaduke—long, whippy tail and lean body but tall and probably weights 65 lbs or more

He is fast as a greyhound and loves to run
The other times he has gotten out they have found him within an hour or so—many people in the neighborhood know him and have helped catch him when they see him—he is not an aggressive/biting dog—but just strong — can pull away if you are just holding his collar…he is friendly but boisterous so can be taken as aggressive

He is chipped so if he is found owners can be notified but he has to be caught and scanned for that to happen
He has a red/blue Cubs baseball collar with their phones
Our SIL is staying home tomorrow to drive around some more and look—
And they are keeping the front porch door open for him tonight with water and blanket

We are close to 41 though and they are afraid that this time he got out of the neighborhood and maybe will be hit by vehicle or get across into other neighborhoods and never find his way home

PLEASE be on the lookout—I can’t post photos because of how hard they make it here but if you DM me I can send one I think
PLEASE if you are on FaceBook and remotely close to my area of Nokomis would you post a lost dog alert?

Our grandson is going to go to pieces if they can’t get this dog back…
