It's going to take more than 2 years for most of the area to recover, and housing has SLOWED tremendously throughout the nation.

All of these markets are poised for a backoff if not a correction ...just based on rates, construction costs, labour problems, and just "time" to build or re-build.
Was out in Englewood today. Again, when you turn down 776 from 41 in Port Charlotte you notice the wind damage is worse than Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte. Much more tree damage as well. For our areas like Punta Gorda, Englewood I think it will recover by late next year. Places like Pine Island, Ft. Myers Beach, Sanibel won't even be recovered in 2 years. They were wiped clean. Some of the houses on Sanible that were higher in elevation, built like bunkers looked to do okay. I mean those mansions. Then again choppers don't show close up but they looked a but elevated so maybe only minor surge damage.

True! Especially because Wagon Wheel in St. Pete closed down. That property was sold for condos. I do like the fact most of Red Barn is INDOORS enclosed and 4 days a week during the winter! However from my location in Punta Gorda it's a 60 mile drive one way. I'd have to hire someone.

If Red Barn was further south and close to the highway like UTC I'd seriously consider it. Flamingo in bonita is closer but I hear lots of vacant spots and dwindling foot traffic.

All across the country flea markets are doing bad due to Amazon and Walmart and online now.

People told me back in the mid 2000s even 2010s at the fleamarket you had people driving high end luxury cars there, making 200k a year for 3 days of work. That's how busy that place was. I remember going there when I was like 10 and the place was jammed packed.
