I wasn't sure whether to include this here because it's actually located in Naples. But since it's a big attraction and only a two hour drive from Bradenton I decided to post about it here. I hope there are no objections.

Reservations are now open for the first Florida indoor water park resort from Great Wolf Lodge Inc., which is under construction in Naples.

The company announced Suffolk, the construction contractor, completed the vertical construction of the family-focused indoor water park resort on Wednesday.

The interior, which includes a 90,000-square-foot indoor water park, 60,000-square-foot Great Wolf Adventure Park and 500 family-friendly guest suites, is the next phase of the project.

The timetable for the park's opening is Oct. 1, 2024, while an earlier date can be achieved if future construction milestones are hit this fall and winter, a news release said.

Reservations can be made at:

The indoor water park resort is located near the Interstate 75-Collier Boulevard interchange, next to the Paradise Coast Sports Complex, a roughly two-hour drive from Bradenton or Miami. Great Wolf Lodge Inc.'s only other branded indoor water park resort in the Southeast is in Atlanta.

Planned Amenities

— A 90,000-square-foot indoor water park, heated to 84 degrees, featuring a variety of body slides, tube slides, raft rides, activity pools and splash areas for every member of the family — from toddlers and teens to parents and grandparents.

— A 60,000-square-foot family entertainment center known as the Great Wolf Adventure Park will offer a variety of family-friendly attractions, including MagiQuest — a live-action adventure game where players use interactive magic wands to battle goblins and dragons.

— Family events and activities including Yoga Tails, a morning exercise program, and evening events such as the Hustle & Howl dance party and Story Time event.

— Several dining options ranging from pizza and burgers to upscale dining and premium ice cream treats at Wood's End Creamery.

— Family-friendly suites in a variety of categories and styles including suites with separate sleeping quarters for kids designed as either a log cabin or wolf den and outfitted with bunk beds. The resort will also feature suites with multiple bedrooms for large families or multi-generational groups.

The company also plans to hire 600 full- and part-time employees in time for their 2024 opening.

Nothing to see here folks just more paving over paradise. Who cares about the beautiful Gulf Of Mexico water to swim in, here’s this chemical chlorinated water with barely any natural sunlight coming inside! Enjoy!
