Don't waste our time with your silly updates! We don't want your daily updates, lilaclady. You have your opinion, we have ours. We say that Bradenton is a gang infected, crime rittten city. Germs don't even want to live in Bradenton. If you want to leave your windows and doors unlocked and open when your in house or out of house, that's fine, I'm just saying that I believe you are welcoming robbers and all that jazz into your home. I think it's foolish to leave your home unlocked 24/7. That would be like leaving your garage door open all the time, including night. That would be welcoming robbers and criminals to take the stuff in your home, in your garage, take your car. It's going to invite things to happen in the long run. Doesn't mean I'm afriad, or that anybody else is afriad because we don't leave your windows and doors unlocked and open 24/7 like you do. Just means that I'm more cautious because I'm aware of what Bradenton is like and your not. I want to take protection for the safety of myself. You don't... whatever. ~

When did I say I leave my windows and doors unlocked 24/7?
The other night I went to bed and when I got up for work I noticed my door was unlocked. When I leave for work, I open a window because I shut my a/c off while I'm gone. That's called keeping some air moving.
When I remember I do lock the door. If the temp drops down enough, I open the windows while I am asleep.
I prefer fresh air over nasty stale a/c air.

I also asked a few guys from work about Gangs today and they about laughed ME out of my Office.
They thought I was joking when I asked them if I need to fear Gangs!!
I was dead serious. The one guy laughed so hard I thought he was going to wet himself. This is a 27 year old guy who was born and raised in Sarasota BUT now lives in Bradenton.
He told me along with others what I have been trying to tell you.
Gangs aren't out to get the public. They just want to be the biggest and baddest Gang around and they could care less about me.
So again I will say, what is it again I'm supposed to fear?

P.S. My updates aren't so silly when I can prove leaving my windows open during the day isn't doing any harm. The Gang members are asleep when I'm at work and up on the prowl when I'm sleeping.
We live 2 different lives and our paths will probably never pass.

~The End~

Offcourse everything is intact, you are friends with the gang members by your own admission.

1. I think you're lieing about the "office" talk. I hardly think that everybody going to have the exact same opinion as you. Same on this forum. I know what's out there, if you don't want to see that, that's you. I and others can see it, that's that.

2. I NEVER said the gangs were out to get the public, but sometimes the "play" affected the public. Example: Stacy Williams, the 9-year-old shot and killed by... any guesses? Any? GANG MEMBERS!!

3. Your updates will prove NOTHING to me. They are pointless.

Point A leads to Point B which leads to Point C, back to Point A. That basically means that these posts all loop together from 1 to 2 to 3 back to 1. We don't agree, that's it.

I don't know what news channel lilaclady is watching, but a lot of the drug, shootings and gang stuff always happens in Bradenton and Ft. Myers. Been that way for a long time. It's not a personal attack on everyone who lives in those places. Lilaclady is oblivious because she is scared. She will never see anything bad in Bradenton because she can't handle seeing it.

That's exactly what I've been saying. She doesn't want to admit to the fact that her town has crime. We have the problems, she doesn't want to see that.

Yeah, I see it on the news all the time. I don't know what she watches!

I hear Bradenton is a drug filled dump from some Friends who lived over in that area. How true is this? looks like a beach type town, would have never thought this just driving thru.

I think everybody just needs to kiss and make up.

If Carbondated and I can agree to disagree on North Port issues, you all surely can. Funny thing is I was born in Bradenton-don't really keep up too much on the daily activities anymore so I can't really comment on the whole Bradenton thing.

Do I need to go cook up some more popcorn for the next few chapters of this thread?

Here's what I see:

Suncoast Guy, DailyJournalist, LadywithaFan, lostinFlorida, FleeingFloridaASAP, a few others= not in love with Bradenton

Lilaclady=In love with Bradenton

There we have it. I think that's all that needs to be said.
