How many of you here own a dog or two. Where do you take them for a run etc. I used to take mine to 17th st. dog park, but stopped about couple of years ago. I take them to run near my house, it's a big open field where they can be safe and not be bothered by anyone.

Occasionally, we used to go to Paw Park (the beach) in Venice. My dog would just sit at the edge of the water, plop herself down just to get her belly wet and stay there.... for hours. Lazy girl, lol. These days she plays a about once a week with her new best friend, a female pit bull in a field near the golf course.

Toby and Barney
We have gone to Paws, but most of the time we just walk the streets of Venice. There are so many other dogs in the neighborhood we just make the rounds.

Brooks Legacy , a group of people out of Naples that save good dogs from kill shelters.

Thanks for posting pictures of your best friends. I was thinking if anyone wants to do doggies day out. Venice beach sounds like a great place, but, i have a brand new car and don't go there due to them being wet and nasty, unless i can sit there and wait for them to dry off, which will take forever. Otherwise, i want to see if anyone up for a run elsewhere? On occasion i take them to Marina Jack park for a walk.
