Who do you think has the best pizza in the North Port/Port Charlotte area?

It was Bella Napoli. I think I saw them open back up in a strip mall between North Port and Port Charlotte. There aren't too many choices-Pizza Hut, Dominos, Jett's, Brick House. I think that's it that I can think of.

I like Kay Family Restaurant in Deep Creek, or Luigi Italian Restaurant on 41.

Thanks guys,

I went to The Brick Grille in North Port last night. The pizza was actually the best I've had in a long time.

I was also able to pick up some part time work, so an extra thanks to SoFlGal.

I liked Dino's.

Of course, I wouldn't mind a Chicago style pizza. DEEP DISH!

That's great that you were able to pick up some work. It seems like they have a good group of people working over there.

We are new to the area and I'm an old Jersey girl so finding a decent pizza is mandatory for me. We tried Romano's today and it was very good. Nice thin crispy crust good taste to the cheese and sauce.I know we will be back too soon! They are on Tamiani Tr in Sunnydell Plaza in Port Charlotte. Called Romanos Bakery and Pizza.Give it a try, they're way better than the chain pizza stores.

We're from Jersey too and planning on making the move after the 1st of the year. When I was visiting last month I was exposed to Florida pizza. YUCK! (Sorry if I'm offending anyone) It's good to know there's a place to get good pizza down there

Actually the very best pizza I have had since moving to Florida 25 yrs ago is not where you would expect to find it. Up in Citrus County in the Crystal River Mall (looks like a giant circus tent) is Schianos. Authentic New York style pizza made by a real Italian and his family. His crust is just like I remember the best pizzas back in Jersey. So it proves it can be done even with Fl water! We were addicted to it,thank God we moved!

Default new Business

I just found out my favorite authentic New York pizza place is a new business, just open 2 months. Romano's bakery and Pizza in Sunny Dell Plaza in Port Charlotte.Great tasting large pizza for 10 bucks!! Way better than any of the chain pizzas. So if your in the mood for pizza give them a try. Help get a new business going.
