Most of the crime in Bradenton/SRQ is driven by drug addiction. Pills are more popular in SRQ and I believe there's more meth use going in Bradenton due to the cost of meth compared to crack & herion.
I hate to rag on like this but if people want to know the truth, I'm not here to sugar coat what I've experienced in Manatee county.

We were truly disappointed when we were there for a visit. I lived in Bradenton in the 80's and it was clean, friendly, non frightful. I did not recognize some areas.
But we are fully aware that everytown has it's bad points and sides. Looking forward to our move to Sarasota.
