Do Christmas tree farms exist down here? We are transplants from up North and I wonder where people buy their live CHristmas trees down here. HomeDepot? Is their a place to cut down your own? So far I've really enjoyed our new home & community, although as a parent of special needs children (ADHD, sendory etc), it is hard to make friend with other parents. I am plugging along though. Any info will be most appreciated!

When I lived up north, my wife and I enjoyed going out and digging up a live tree. We hunted for trees in areas that were soon to become housing developments. After Christmas we'd plant the tree on our property. We chose small trees so that the possibility of a successful transplant would be higher.
The only place I know of would be a bit of a drive, but it could be a great day for you and the kids, check out
