We had an issue at smh when our dd was 5 weeks old. She had a high fever. The dr. who was an intern (we found out later) said the xray was cloudy they were going to admit her and do a spinal tap. Then the real dr. came in and said oh ur daughter has pnemonia and we will give iv antibiotics and send her home. We were a bit upset to have the intern tell us something wrong. They should be watched more. I used to work for the blood bank behind smh and had no troubles other then the 1. I like personally dr.s and smh. I did not like st. joes now called peace river. Blood on the sheets. (tiny splatters but I noticed it!! They told us to put our kid in a different part of the bed!

Yeah I'm not wild about St Joe's/Peace River either. The staff always seems miserable

We were treated well...when he had a heart attack over a year ago....I was allowed to sleep in his room(in a reclining chair). I had to explain why, which was embarassing...BUT the hospital was very accomadating and the staff friendly. I did have to get firm to get in the ambulance and hospital..I thank god they are not like some hospitals...that one in Oregon...how sad the man died alone because the hospital would not let his partner visit. I am a nurse so I know most personnel are kind...that is what draws one to nursing....I just can understand the anxiety of that person with the doctor thread(I assume they asked in good faith). Thanx again...we have to make an appointment with a specialist tomorrow. Take care.
