Have you ever spent any time in SWFL? Ask Hiknapster about the good ol' folks in SW FL.

Hiknapster, would you like to chime in about how "friendly" the folks there were when you lived there?

In my opinion, both SE and SW Florida have a lot of rude and cranky people. I know, I know. My definition of rude is different than others. Gotcha.

The pitstop before the next big thing IF YOU ARE YOUNG AND SINGLE.
Not even close.

I actually think I made the closest comparison with Miami.
Even with Sarasota and Miami being two different worlds.

Naples? Maybe it could be considered a boring, vanilla version of Sarasota. :-) Also, Naples would not qualify in this discussion as it is not a big city. I'd go with the Santa Fe, Sedona, Austin, Portland, Asheville vibe long before Naples.

LOL - You're forgiven! It is true there are quite a few older folk here (and I guess I am one of them, although I do like to lie about my age!
