I never got the "cheese pizza" thing. I don't think I can ever bring myself to order it that way either. Does anyone order it without cheese?
on a side note, in an effort to blend... I have resorted to ordering "soda water" instead of seltzer in FL after major confusion at multiple places.
Ever see My Cousin Vinny? I so don't blend in FL lol I kinda stick out like a big sore thumb! Always reminds me of that scene in the movie "Oh yeah, you blend" lol

Ya you're right but out of habit I guess most of us say cheese and pepperoni.

Try Cattlemen Cafe and Pizzeria. It was voted best in Sarasota recently. It is on Cattlemen, across from the feed store. I like it as well, if not better, than Valentino's.
