I spent two glorious days in Golden Beach, Venice and the water was fantastic! Thank God, no signs of oil.... just crystal clear gulf! oh and BTW the gulf has really warmed up! had to be mid 80's! LOVE it!

Oil is headed for Escambia county, Pensacola area near panhandle- Oil sheens/slicks are 7 miles off shore...a hurricane could be tragedy. For now, things in SRQ are good- just pray for our beaches!
