Hi Everyone. I am currently looking to relocate out of New Jersey and Savannah looks interesting because of the warm climate, mild winters, it's by the ocean, and I'm told the pace is very laid back. I have several questions I was hoping people here could help me answer. I am a straight single 28 year old male so family friendly/schools/etc. aren't really a consideration.

1) I would like to live in an urban area with a bohemian vibe. Do these types of places exist in Savannah and if so where are they? I was searching the internet for information on downtown Savannah and could not find much. How are the rents?

2) Since I'm single I was wondering how the night life is? Are there alot of other single people in Savannah?

3) I work in IT doing Server Administration/Infrastructure. How is the job market for technical people? Also, how are the salaries?

4) Are the summers really that different from Jersey? We have our share of 90+ degree 100% humidity days up here.

Thanks for any info you can give me

not really different just longer(90 degree starts around the first of June ends around mid August) seems to never end
in the 1980's I left Savannah June 1 and lived near Port Jervis until mid August. Did this for 7 years
