My husband and I are moving to the Savannah area rather soon and at a fast pace. We currently live 10 hours away and are trying to gather some details on rental properties in the Pooler area in order to make a fast weekend trip to look at several at once. We would like a house that would allow a dog (boxer) and in the range of $900 to $1100 per month, preferably 2+ bedrooms and 2 bath. The rental needs to be in Pooler as it is the mid point for both of our work travels and would be easiest for us while learning a new area. Any suggestions are welcome.

Did you find a place? Look in the Godley area.

My son lived at Walden at Chatham Center and it was very nice. They had a dog at the time.

You'd have an easier time finding an apartment in your price range than a rental house in Pooler. Not saying it's impossible, but more feasible.

There are apts in the Godley area but there are quite a few houses for rent in the area too. Alot of military personnel bought houses in the area and then get orders to move elsewhere. With the way the Real Estate market is these days they cant afford to sell and have instead chosen to rent them out. You might get lucky. Check out militarybyowner.com for some rentals and perhaps just shop around some of the real estate agencies and property management companies for rentals in the area. You may end up with a 3BR house but if you prefer a house with a yeard over an apartment, just hang on, its out there. When do you intend to move down? The summer months are 'moving season' as the kids are outof school and families can relocate without dragging the kids from one place to the next so things might just open up to fit what youre looking for. Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions..... Good luck!
