I am contemplating moving from Atlanta to Savannah. Being a gay male, I want to get an apartment/condo that's either in the heart of the gay section/community of Savannah or on the beach close to the city of Savannah.

What streets or area's of Savannah are gay or gay friendly populated?
Are there any places near or on a park?
If I choose to live on the water, what streets/areas are nice?

I'm not interested in living near high schools, colleges or predominantly str8/family nighborhoods.

Any suggestions gay men of Savannah????

There is not a "gay section" of Savannah. They're here, but the community is not that big to warrant its own neighborhood.

Don't pay 912 any attention. While it's true Savannah does not have a "Midtown" or "East Atlanta" or "Decatur" (re: Gay Ghettos) with overwhelmingly large numbers of gay and lesbian residents, businesses, etc. there are neighborhoods outside the Historic District that are popular with growing numbers of GLBT -- Gordonston, Thomas Square, Daffin Park, Habersham Park, and certain neighborhoods onTybee. Of course, the biggest concentration of gays and lesbians is still gonna be downtown, and SCAD's sizable GLBT student enrollment makes a difference to. All in all, I find Savannah to be a very gay-friendly, open, tolerant city -- and I also moved here from ATL.

I said there is not a gay "section" of town. You tell the OP to ignore me, then you agree with me. Condescend much? Carry yourself back home if you can't behave around the locals, son.

Bellhead, two of the places you listed are not gay friendly at all, despite being advertised as such. As for seeing me, I doubt that. The wife & I gravitate towards classier establishments.

So, I am no expert on the gay community, but I do work downtown in the historic district, and many of the shopkeepers are gay, and it there are also organizations where gay people can grip and grin. Strangely it is mostly males, since I have only met one lesbian.
So what I mean is, it is a gay friendly environment, for sure.
