I currently live in the Upstate NY area and in my mid 30's. Im single and really antsy to try some place new. Upstate NY is pretty much the Snow Belt of the East Coast and I need to get the heck out of here. Does anyone have any advice as to the best plaes to look for apartments in the Savannah area that are reasonably priced? Also, I need to find a job. I currently work at the local hospital and have for the past 13 yrs. I would like to try to work at a Savannah hospital as well, but nothing that requires a long communte. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!!!

What type of work do you do in a hospital? Lots of different types of work from housekeeper to doctor. Office work etc.etc.

Perhaps you could find something similar in one of the free standing clinics.

We have three hospitals, many clinics and large group practices and small groups and single practices.
Come and visit, go and apply, but please don't move until you have a position.

I agree, and what is reasonable for you for rent? How long of a commute?

I agree - search for St Joseph's, Candler, and Memorial and see what type of positions they have listed online. You can apply online, too.

Memorial and Candler are pretty close to each other, and near the Ardsley Park area. You may be able to find a nice carriage apartment in this area. Most are separate from the main house. St Joe's is on the southside of town, with plenty of apartments close by.

Being young and single, you may prefer the ardsesly park area because it is close to the downtown historic district.
