I am new to Savannah and after living many, many different places it suits me to a T, but I'm having the dickens of a time finding a good hairstylist!! I have hard to cut hair so I don't mind spending a little extra...any ideas? Oh I am female and have long straight hair!

Thanks

With long straight hair, how do you want to wear it? UP?? down and straight? or down and wavy/curly?

I'm wanting layers but a little shorter and to keep it straight. It's actually gotten to long because I'm so hesitant to try a stylist that hasn't been recommended to me.

Many of the salons downtown have good stylists. I've had good experiences with stylists at Aqua, Robs on Drayton, Salon de la Vita, Park West, and B Street. Stylists tend to move around, but in general, I think the owners of these have high standards about who works for them. I'm sure there are others, but I'm only one woman.

Thank You, Ellie! B Street and Park West keep coming up so I may have to give one of them a call!

I've been to Parkwest, Angelora and Atmosphere's Aveda Salon (now closed). Recently went to the Aveda salon on Abercorn. I was never happy with any of them. Seemed impossible to find a good stylist there.
