Hi everyone, we are planning a first time trip to Savannah at the end of September, we will be there for 5 days. Can anyone give some great ideas for must do's with teens? My girls are into history, but like to have fun as well. Restaurants, tours whatever your can think of. Thanks!

Fun things for teens???? that's hard to say. Read a lot of these reviews and maybe you'll find similar likes and dislikes. But honestly, I can't think of much. Savannah is more for the adult that like "fun" as found in a bar.

It may still be hot enough for a day at the beach. They might like to see Fort Pulaski and climb up to the top of the lighthouse. It would be something to brag about. A dolphin sighting trip?

I echo Padgett's concerns. There's plenty to do in Savannah, but how many teenage girls really enjoy or appreciate history? They do enjoy the beach and shopping, however! Plan to spend at least one or two days browsing the unique boutiques along Savannah's Broughton and Bull streets AND the many outlet malls in nearby Bluffton, SC. If your teens were ever Girl Scouts, they'd probably enjoy touring the Juliet Gordon Lowe birthplace and Andrew Lowe House. Take a horse carriage tour, a nighttime ghost tour and DEFINITELY see a show at the Historic Savannah Theater!

The Pirate's House Restaurant is historic. The Mighty Eighth Museum is very interesting, if they're into WWII. A Dolphin Tour, for sure.
I don't know what pedicures cost in Canada, but here they are about $23. so that is something my daughter and granddaughter always do when they come from the north.
I think it will be plenty warm enough at the beach in September. We've been to the beach in November and it was fine.
