Don't you know the beach will look simply FABULOUS when it's over? Unlike another weekend event?

Newsboy--would you know if there are fees of any sort that are paid to be able to stage this event? Is there a license for example ($$) that needs to be bought. In summary, aside from it's "good for business"( shopkeepers in their opinion) does the City of Tybee make make money?

Seeing as how this is a promotional weekend organized by the city ... I think the income to the city simply comes from increased business and tax revenue brought in on an otherwise slow weekend. The positive PR doesn't hurt either.

Funny you should mention that! I told a friend in Tampa about it and she said she wanted to come see hot guys in speedos. I had to remind her that this was Tybee - not SoBe! She's more likely to see lesbians -- not in speedos.
