Hi all
Any suggestions for a nice restaurant with a private room in Savannah? We need it to seat about 15-20. What is the best area to host a dinner event that is centralized for people?

I don't quite understand what you mean by "centralized for people."
do you want it to be near a certain area? If so, give us a hint as to where. I am sure there are many nice restaurants that would do. Your main problem would be parking and location.

I went to a dinner for about 12 at the Pink House, and we had a private room. Elizabeth's on 37th has a private upstairs dining room. Either will be expensive, but good.
I think I read recently that The Lady & Sons has an adjacent building for groups, but I didn't see anything about it on the website. Perhaps the regular restaurant has a private room.
Surely, the Pirate's House has a private room also, and they have onsite parking.

I'm not at all familiar with Savannah, so by centralized...i basically mean I don't want people to have to drive really far to get there...

Thanks for the ideas so far. I had come up with Elizabeth's on 37th when I googled. I think we will put that one on our list.

OK, If you are staying at a hotel in the Historic District, most restaurants will be within walking distance......except Elizabeth's on 37th. It's a short drive. Parking and walking back to the car at night is not the best in the world. You might want to think about a taxi if you decide to go there. Good choice of restaurants.

If your group is meeting somewhere besides the Historic District, we may be able to suggest something closer.

you may be able to locate where you will be on this map.

Vics on the River has a nice private room suitable for that number of people, plus a much larger event space upstairs. It's on Factor's Walk by City Hall.
