I hadn't seen a thread on City-Data yet, so I thought I'd share for the uninitiated... The 63rd annual Savannah Greek Festival (Savannah Greek Festival 2013 - Oct. 10-12th - St. Pauls Greek Orthodox Church - Savannah, GA) is over tomorrow, so if you haven't been by to taste some great Greek treats, you're missing out!

Where: 14 West Anderson Street, Savannah, GA 31401
When: Thursday, October 10 – 11:00am – 9pm; Friday, October 11 – 11:00am – 9pm; Saturday, October 12 - 11:00am – 9pm

Meh ... I've been the past few years and was mostly underwhelmed. The food is just OK and it's way overpriced. No offense to the Greek folks, but you can get better down at Olympia Cafe on the River 365.

No dancing and live music, though... Part of the charm of the festival is the community center flavor you can't get at a restaurant.

I will agree ... the people are beautiful! And it's worth a visit just to see inside the sanctuary!
