No fooling Dick Tracy. When was the last time you checked your latitudes and longitudes? Amazes me there is a constant stream of people posing this question. WTF,look at a map Jack. More or less, we are in the sub tropics. LOL

Not hard to understand. If the heat and humidity bothers you.... No problem but savannah might not be for you.

I agree. It shouldn't be too hard. I mean, the 32nd parallel goes right through Tybee Island and parts of southside Savannah!

Which is why you pray that one of those afternoon thunderstorms forms nearby to cool you off. It was a nice 75 F up here in Statesboro by around 5 PM. A great turnaround from that 98 F we had on Saturday. Even the A/C in the house turned off!

Funny you mention that, because it started raining downtown today about 4:30 pm and it hasn't stopped since ... very cool and pleasant.

If you're use to the incredibly high humidity. That is one difference I like between Atlanta and Savannah. The elevation change and farther proximity from the ocean takes away the major humidity Savannah is infamous for. Yeah, it is still hot and humid up here, but not to the degree that it is in Savannah.

Even an afternoon thunderstorm only helps so much. Makes it steamy more often than not.

People are surprisingly ignorant of a lot of things these days: like geography, geology, history, and science.
