Beautiful weather, cool breezes, streets jam-packed, bars and restaurants overflowing with beautiful and interesting people from all over. Met so many cool people, had so many neat conversations, saw so many very heartwarming and fun things -- like a mass group-participation chess match on the oversized board in City Market between a young white boy here on vacation with his family and a black Savannah homeless man. (He let the boy win!)

Alas, I am now home. I love going downtown on the weekends but it's getting harder and harder to stay out much past 12-1 am (it does get a little scary after that IMO).

I was literally like 50 feet next to it. I heard one shot, turned around and saw everybody scrambling and then saw the gunman shoot 5 more times and then run through Ellis square.
