Just for fun, I goggled all over, and pretended I was searching for a City Manager. I found no listings for Savannah anywhere among the hundreds of cities who are looking for one.
I wonder if the fix is in already?

Good lord woman, it's only been like what, two weeks?! You don't post these kinds of jobs on monster.com or craigslist!

not sure if serious?
City Manager Jobs - Search City Manager Job Listings | Monster
City Manager

I am not impressed with the new chief Jr. Nor why such a position was created, since Eddie should know what is going on day to day. I am still cautiously optimistic. I supported Eddie because it was time for change. He should have waited a month or so though before the Cutter thing. However I like Bell and how he supported her. She would probably make a good mayor.

Yes I'm serious. Did you read those ads? Most are not for a CITY manager, but for people to manage a business enterprise in a certain CITY. Aka "City Manager for Air Wisconsin operations in Green Bay."

The best and most qualified candidates for next Savannah City Manager need to be recruited by a professional headhunter or the Georgia Municipal Association.

Well now that you mention it, a giant billboard on Abercorn or maybe some flyers on windshields of cars at the mall would probably do the trick.

From the look of things, that's how they recruited the last two.

We really need a good one to clean up the mess that has accumulated over the past decade in city hall. Who ever gets hired has a lot of issues to deal with.
