I travel to SE Georgia all the time and I haven't been to Savannah in awhile, but I plan on going up there again soon. I was wondering if there are any upscale clubs or bars in the area. Anywhere that the girls don't wear sneakers and guys aren't allow with t-shirts and jerseys? And at least the 25-30 crowd. Thanks for any info.

Is there any what??? Are there nice clubs in Savannah? Yes, but I can't think of any with dress codes like those you've mentioned.

Very funny.

There are few bars that might suit your style. The first that comes to mind is Jazz'd (on Barnard between Broughton and Congress). The first time I went there I felt like I was back in NY...definitely more of an upscale city feel.
Jen's & Friends (Bull next to Il Pasticcio) is a good martini bar - small but friendly
It's sister bar (or brother?) just opened in City Market. John's & Friends is more of a pub, but they have a more sophisticated beer list and seems to draw an older crowd.
Also, Baccus (I may be misspelling that) wine bar just opened last week at the Drayton Towers (Drayton and Liberty). I haven't checked it out yet, but I've heard good things.
I can't guarantee you won't find some sneakers and flip flops there, but will be LESS likely to find them!

Il Pasticcio on Saturday nights have a DJ that plays house music. I've never seen anybody in sneakers and jersy's there...VERY expensive drinks though but I guess that is what you get at a more upscale place.

Default Another choice...

Molly's (Molly Macphersons Scottish Pub) is also another choice you might like. They have a HUGE scotch selection and great beer selection too. A little bit older crowd. Oh - the bartenders wear kilts too .
