I must say... This has been a very boring day for me so far. And with a curfew in place I don't suppose there will be any dancing girls on the program tonight. Lol

I know, right? We have been uber ready for so long that it's gong to be a let down when it finally goes by. We are not evacuating, and I don't fault anyone for erring on the side of caution, but Jeeze, get it over with, already.

So far, still have power in Pooler, and just light winds and lots of rain. Going to bed soon, and hope to sleep through the worst of it. Here's hoping.

Lost power at 8:45 last night in Pooler. Generator is up and running, so the tv and a few lights and the fridge are running.
Biggest issue is the dog won't go out to pee.

Reporting in from Savannah/Pooler. Power is up in certain areas, the Home Depot in Pooler was open for a few hours. Looked like Sonic and the Cookout were open too. Shell station on Pooler Parkway and Benton was open as well. I imagine Sunday will have Publix open.

I did see at least a dozen Georgia Power trucks heading towards the airport, not sure if they are using that as their base of operations or not, but it looks like the cavalry is coming for those without power. Now just need to guard against looters!

We do not do looters, or riff raffn, in Pooler, unless they are shipped in. Just say no.

HD was open from 11 am-6 pm. FYI the main purchase was chain saws, as opposed to yesterday, when it was generators. Glad about Cookout being open..we will hit it tomorrow, since it is a favorite. The Waffle House by the airport was open today.
HD was on GA Power, so I assume the open businesses are also. We live in the same neighborhood as Buddy Carter, the Police Cheif, and an Alderman, and we do not have power yet.
