A number of news reports are claiming a sharp increase in stopping suspected undocumented people in the Savannah area. Have you noticed any increase of traffic stops (check points)?

I don't believe it at all. They did do a sweep that was reported a few days ago that picked 25-30 people. I haven't seen or heard about any check points since New Years.

This is reportedly happening across the country but I'm not sure that it's as big a deal as people are making it out to be. ICE says these are routine raids not connected to anything Trump has ordered. It may just be the media feeding off people's fear.

FROM THE NY DAILY NEWS:

ICE said nearly 95% of the foreign nationals arrested in the New York area over the past week were criminal aliens, fugitives or illegal reentrants.

They ought to do routine raids of the construction sites and the back of restaurants. They would probably fill busloads of illegals

How bought start with the corporate offices of the home builders and the restaurant companies, then follow up with the hedge funds who put the pressure on them to employ illegals in order to increase their stock price.

yep if they were instructing their underlings to hire illegals and bypass labor laws and pay payroll taxes.. then yes they should also be fined or jailed.
